San Angelo Independent School District is pleased to announce the following new campus leadership changes ahead of the 2026-2027 school year. These leadership changes will take effect after the conclusion of this school year.

San Angelo ISD teachers, staff, and administrators gathered the morning of Friday, May 8 at the San Angelo Stadium for a district-wide celebration of the accomplishments of the 2025–2026 school year, and honored staff for their service and contributions to the district. During the event, the district honored retiring educators, recognized employees for milestone years of service and distributed special awards to exceptional staff members.

San Angelo ISD proudly hosted Manos a la Obra, a free and family-friendly community resource night on April 24 at Bradford Elementary School. The event welcomed SAISD emergent bilingual students and their families for an evening filled with cultural celebration, valuable community resources and hands-on support.

Howard College and San Angelo READS! recently came together to celebrate literacy and environmental awareness with some of San Angelo ISD’s youngest learners. On April 9, Howard College San Angelo Provost Pam Callan visited Goliad Elementary School, where she read “Big Earth, Little Me” by Thom Wiley to an excited group of 60 pre-kindergarten students gathered in the school’s library.

San Angelo ISD will host an enrollment support event on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to assist families enrolling their little learners in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year. The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Austin Professional Learning Center (700 N Van Buren St).
