Today we bring you our first Future Ready Friday! Every third Friday of the month we will showcase ways SAISD is supporting the hopes and dreams of our students and preparing them to be “future ready.” This week we are sharing our recent Academy Night with Congressman Pfluger at Lake View High School for students interested in serving our country and pursuing a college degree at one of the nation’s Service Academy Colleges.
San Angelo ISD, in partnership with Shannon Medical Center, will host optional, free COVID-19 vaccine clinics at each Central Bobcat and Lake View Chief home football game at San Angelo Stadium for the remainder of the 2021 football season. National Hispanic American Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15 through October 15 and highlights the Hispanic community’s histories, cultures and contributions to the areas of science, fine arts, technology, and many others. To kick off our celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, SAISD is proud to feature one of our own outstanding leaders, Lincoln Middle School principal and Region 15 Secondary Principal of the Year, Mr. Joe Gandar and his inspiring story of resilience.
