Student Registration Pause Scheduled During PowerSchool Rollout

San Angelo ISD is in the process of transitioning to a new Student Information System, PowerSchool, to better support our students, families, and staff. A Student Information System is the platform we use to manage things like student registration, attendance, and academic records. This upgrade will help improve the overall experience for families when accessing or updating student information.

As part of the transition, online registration for returning students will be temporarily unavailable during a planned system shutdown and data rollover.

  • Returning Students: Registration will be unavailable from June 23 through July 6.
  • New Students: Registration for new students will remain available throughout the rollover period. However, new student registrations that have been started and are incomplete as of July 1 will need to be re-entered.

We appreciate our community’s patience as we complete this important upgrade. We ask families to complete the registration process as promptly as possible to ensure a smooth start to the school year.

Please Note:

  • Students who are not registered before the first day of school or their campus schedule pickup event will not receive a classroom placement (elementary) or class schedule (secondary) until registration is completed.

We thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work to improve our systems and prepare for a successful 2025–2026 school year.
